Lissette is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Degree. She is committed to providing you with a gentle and effective, research-based therapy that will address your concerns, support your goals and move you towards health and well-being.
Lissette works with both adults and youth (14+) and her areas of specialization include a wide range of mental health issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, suicidality, life changes (transition), and relationship issues. She is highly skilled and experienced in working with victims of crime and is registered with the Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP). She also has comprehensive experience in helping individuals who are struggling emotionally and mentally after a motor vehicle accident and is comfortable in dealing with ICBC adjustors and lawyers to ensure you are approved for counselling sessions. Additionally, she has been working in the addiction field supporting youth and adults struggling with substance misuse and supporting those who are affected by addiction.
Lissette has worked in the health and wellness field for over 10 years. She believes that making positive changes in one’s life is possible for everyone. She provides a non-judgmental space that allows safety to explore and unpack overwhelming feelings, learn tools for coping and thriving and allow transformation to occur.
